More onion is a digital mobilisation agency supporting progressive non-profits all over Europe with digital campaigns and fundraising. Our team is based in Austria, Germany and the UK.
Our agency work combines strategy consulting, creative communications and hands-on delivery of campaigning and fundraising projects. More onion also offers a software platform for organisations, called Impact Stack.
We have adopted an organisational structure where every client has a main contact person who is a Mobilisation Expert. Your role will therefore be both to manage client relationships and deliver projects.
Your role
You will:
- Work with clients to develop robust strategies for their campaigns, fundraising and communication projects
- Work with clients to execute those strategies including in many cases hands-on work to build, test and optimise pages and email journeys
- Monitor and analyse the performance of supporter communications and work to optimise them against their objectives
- Collaborate with the wider team on large projects, from copywriting, design and technology to create engaging and impactful supporter experiences
- Work with our Business Development Director to help shape projects before they begin
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop and deliver trainings to charity sector professionals, both online and in person.
- Provide input into the future development of our mobilisation platform Impact Stack, to ensure it continues to be as effective as possible for our clients
- As a team member you participate in activities of the wider organisation, support colleagues, learn together, improve our process and provide input into business development
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the charity sector in the field of mobilisation, digital campaigning and/or digital fundraising
- Hands on experience delivering digital campaigns
- Fast learner
- Flexible when it comes to specific tasks and the types of projects you deliver
- Excitement about working with non-profits, NGOs, charities, unions and progressive organisations
- Clear, pro-active communications in writing as well as conversations
- Ability to work fairly independently as a member of a tightly knit team
- Ability to confidently manage your own time
- Strong project management skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of the UK political systems and influencing strategies
- Strong understanding or and/or connections within the UK charity sector

- 25 days of annual leave (pro rata), increased by one day annually up to 28 days
- A salary depending on experience and location: £38,000- £44,000 pro rata*, plus £3,000 London weighting where applicable
*Full time is 40 hours. We are also open to candidates looking to work the full 40 hours a week instead of 35.
