Job (25h / location flexible) Junior Growth Manager in the Nonprofit Sector

About more onion

more onion is a digital mobilisation agency supporting progressive non-profits all over Europe with digital campaigns and fundraising. Our teams are based in Vienna, Germany, and the UK.

As an agency we combine strategy consulting, creative communications and technical delivery. More onion is also the company behind Impact Stack: a powerful software platform for digital campaigning and fundraising, which is used enthusiastically by over 70 clients in 10 countries.

Impact Stack lies at the heart of this job. Your task is to present the platform during sales calls, answer questions and stay in contact with potential customers.

Your Role

In this role, you will demonstrate Impact Stack to prospective clients and guide those organisations all the way from initial contact, through the sales process, until handing them over to colleagues for onboarding.

Tasks include:

  • You present our company and our software platform at (mostly virtual) meetings with customers, potential customers and at conferences.
  • You actively seek to build a good relationship with organisations that have already shown interest in our work.
  • You organise meetings and exchanges between potential clients and your colleagues, including product managers and mobilisation experts.
  • You will accompany organisations from the initial contact through the sales process to the handover to the team for project launch.
  • You will support marketing activities of other team members (webinars, events, workshops, free guides, etc.) to attract new contacts.
  • Together with the team you develop solutions for the organisation’s problems and formulate them into convincing offers with a well-structured budget.

Your Profile

  • You are authentic, committed and engaging in client contact and bring experience in the charity and campaign sector.
  • You are good at selling, but more importantly, you understand how our work can help organisations create impact.
  • You are passionate about social change and digital transformation. Ideally, you have experience with fundraising, campaigning, and/or digital mobilisation (or are very motivated to gain that experience with us).
  • You are internet savvy, strong in communication and have at least a basic understanding of web technologies.
  • You're up for a startup-like role that requires a high level of motivation, a willingness to learn, a lot of personal responsibility, a bit of risk-taking, and a wide range of activities.
  • You speak and write German and English at a high level.
  • You are enthusiastic about our customers and topics and build new relationships for us: through personal meetings and video calls.

You don't meet all of these criteria? Feel free to reach out and tell us why you think you are the right candidate anyway.

What we can offer

  • A varied, autonomous role in an innovative company with the highest standards that is constantly developing new ideas and business models.
  • Interesting clients and exciting case studies with well-known organisations (e.g. Oxfam, BUND, WWF, Amnesty and Save The Children).
  • A wonderful, interdisciplinary team that speaks many languages, values a friendly and motivated working atmosphere and holds the value of participation high.
  • An environment that encourages learning and innovation.
  • A great software product that makes mobilisation even more fun.
  • Flexible working hours, free choice of workspace and all the other things that make up a modern and employee-friendly work culture.
  • A salary between € 2.300 and € 2.800 gross per month (full time, 12 times a year). The exact salary depends on the country (non-wage labour costs) and the experience you bring with you.
  • In the long term, depending on the development, there is the option to increase the working hours.
